Join us for the 5th annual Portland Winter Light Festival, a city-wide event showcasing illuminated art installations, vibrant performances, and stunning kinetic fire sculptures throughout our city. 

The mission of the Portland Winter Light Festival is to build community by bringing art and technology to inclusive audiences while invigorating Portland in the winter.

Prosper Portland and the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) team up to establish two public art murals on a new building development in a once predominantly African-American neighborhood. Featuring local Portland artists Arvie Smith and Eatcho.

Kevin Cavenaugh walks us through Guerrilla Development's Fair-Haired Dumbbell project and how the two towers got their stylish paint job. Designed by LA-based artist James Jean and painted by Portland-based Dan Cohen, the iconic Fair-Haired Dumbbell is a one-of-a-kind building project like no other.

BORA Architects and Creative Capital Design team up for a banner Design Week Portland project (2018). Comfortable? Fabric and the Threshold of Shelter explores a new vision for construction methodology and the design of companion wearable garments.

Portland's MarchFourth Marching Band was honored to receive an official invitation to do a US State Department cultural exchange tour in China, which was sponsored jointly by the United States Embassy in Beijing, Sias International University, the Sias Foundation, and the Cultural Affairs Office of Henan's Provincial Government, in Zhengzhou. This clip shows the first 5 minutes of the opening sequence.

The Oregon Historical Society and Randall Investment Group team up to renovate Portland's historic 1922 Sovereign Hotel, including the famous Richard Haas trompe l'oeil mural.

The Portland musician and ritual artist known as Soriah (a.k.a. Enrique Ugalde) first came into being more than 10 years ago. His unique vision has evolved to draw equally from performance and musical traditions both modern and ancient--- raga, shamanism, the revisionist arts of electro-acoustics, noise, butoh, and free improvisation.
